Jouer essential high coverage foundation and review

Recently i bought this foundation and when i tried it for the first time i was shocked that how full coverage this foundation is.

It has runny consistency so i tried 2 and a half pumps (which was a lot for me) and trust me the coverage is insane. I didnt really know what full coverage foundation means before i tried this. Gives matte finish. Doesnt feel heavy or cakey but it does look that u have applied makeup (not in a bad way though) but because of the coverage u cant really use it everyday or for no makeup makeup look. Looks so good in photographs  This will be perfect for special occasions/bridal/ photoshoots etc.

It has hyaluronic acid which  retains skin moisture, and plumps it. If you have more mature skin or fine lines but you still want matte finish thn this formula is so beautiful.

It gives very nice finish and long lasting. Its matte but skin looks healthy and filtered. Doesnt feel extremely dry. However, if u have dry skin thn moisturize ur skin prior to this. If you have oily skin thn u will love it.

Comes in frosted glass bottle which contains 20ml which is less thn standard foundations. But since its full coverage and all u need is a pump or two so it makes sense. Overall its a beautiful foundation for your special occasions and if you love full coverage foundations 👍

Ysl touche eclat blur primer review

Firstly, i am not really a big fan of trying different primers. Only few primers i have tried are benefit porefessional, smashbox photo finish and farsali unicorn essence. And i was really happy with these. So i never wanted to try diffrent primers. However, i have been seeing many bloggers and youtubers using ysl touche eclat blur primer and loving it soo much.  So i decided to give it a try as well 🙂

• What it claims -Touche Elcat Blur prepares skin for foundation application, creating an improved, refined appearance: pores seem to be minimized, skin texture feels smoother, and skin tone is more even.
• What i feel -After using it for the first time i noticed skin was soooo smooth , makeup glides on like butter ,it fills in my lines and pores and blurs my face. Gives matte finish (if u have oily skin and struggle with it thn this product is perfecttt) However it doesnt minimize pores much, Like my smashbox and benefit does. But i still loveeee this primer because it makes ur makeup look soo smooth and filtered. Makeup stays on for longer than usual. I have used it twice and i m already used to it coz the way it makes ur makeup look is sooo amazing.It feels like silicone and has little flex of gold in it and im just in love. I use it all over my face and then i use slight amount of porefesional only on my tzone where i have few pores.
• Coming back to ysl primer. It comes in a glass bottle. Looks very classy. All you need is one pump so it will last very long time. It is expensive but it will last you long time .So overall i am really happy with this primer 😊
• There will be more primers in market which might does same. But for me ysl primer worked amazingly on my skin. So for me it was worth buying this.

Clarins double serum hit or miss???

After seeing so many reviews online i decided to try clarins double serum.

Before trying any skincare i prefer getting a sample (before investing in any product) coz not everything suits my skin. I have dry/combination skin. Mainly its dry and tzone is oily.

So i tried double serum sample for 4-5 days and in 1st use itself i kinda liked it ,but samples are not enough to see the results but atleast i knew that my skin was liking this product. So i decided to buy it.

I have been using it since 15 days now and trust me my skin feels soo soft and radiant. I use it day and night with my other skincare routine which i will be sharing soon.

Ok,so definately it soothes and gives radiance. I havent seen any firming so far(maybe its too early to see that) but yes it evens out skin. Makes it soo soft.

Consistency is oil consistency. But its not at all greasy or oily. Doesnt sits on the skin. Looks like oil but once u will apply it feels very light and gives enough hydration to skin.

It is definately a product worth buying.

I dont really have problematic skin. My main concern was lil uneven skintone and skin softening. Which it did for sure.

I will definately recommend this product.it is lil on pricey side but u need one pump for your whole face so its going to last you for long and its worth the price. I am very happy with the results👍👍

New fav foundations Urban decay all nighter foundation & loreal infallible 24 hours pro matte

I have combination skin(oily tzone and dry cheeks )

I wanted to try a new foundation for recent family wedding i went to. So i decided to try urban decay all nighter foundation.

I carried only this foundation for all the functions and i totally loved it. Firstly the shade match was soo perfect. It Lasts all day long and looks so good in pics(no flash back or cakey look)A full-coverage, matte-finish, waterproof foundation that lasts all night.

Shade 7.0

What it does:
Provides full coverage with a demi mattefinish that never looks overdone. Get all-night wear and  flawless-looking complexion. Perfect for all-night affairs, it is also comfortable enough to wear every day. This is definately my new fav foundation.

And while i was in mumbai, i shopped loreal infallible pro matte foundation coz i neva found my exact shade in dubai. So i thot of trying loreal foundation. I wore it for 10 hours and its amazing. Again color match is perfect. It gives such a nice velvety finish. It dries fast so u need to work with it quickly but its a great foundation.

Shade 108 caramel beige (for refernce m nc42 in mac)

What it does:

Gives matte but not flat finish. Light weight and creamy long lasting formula which gives smooth and velvet looking skin. Gives Medium to full coverage. Comes in a tube packaging which is easy to carry. Definately worth buying.

 

Deciem The ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% peeling solution review

I have been using this since 2 months and i could definately see the differnce after the first use itself. Its soo affordable. You have to apply this on clean dry face (face shud be completely dry) apply for 10mins. Not a minute longer thn that (i set my alarm after applying) it comes with a dropper so its easy to apply. Just put few drops on face and massage it all over and leave it on for 10 mins. Strictly avoid eye area, while applying and washing both.

It does sound and look scary. But if this suits your skin thn its magical. I started using it once a week and once my skin got used to i shifted to twice a week. It stings a lil.

Cleans and exfoliates your skin deeply. Skin feels so clean and soft. Over the time you will see a lot of difference. Also your skin can get lil sensitive to sun after this so make sure to apply this only in the night and follow with a sunscreen the next day. (Anyways you should use sunsceen every day, even in winters)

Ps- plz read the instructions carefully on the site or on the packaging and do a tiny test patch before using all over your face.

Best primer water for dry skin

Recently i tried this product and omg I was so amazed that how amazing this primer water is. Since it was my first time trying this so I preferred getting travel size. But definately will be purchasing full size sooon.☺

Foundation stayed all day long and looked so beautiful. My new favvvv primer. You can also use it through out the day weneva u feeling dull. It will add instant freshness to your makeup.

I have dry/combination skin. I have used this 5 times now and i am already seeing results. Skin feels amazing after 1st use itself. Makes skin soft,bright and clean.Cranberry seeds does give gentle exfoliation.(which is really good for skin)Makeup sits on so beautifully after using this mask.

But with any product you have to be consistent to see results.

Since it has turmeric,which has so many benefits for skin. That’s what I liked the most. Definately a good buy for exfoliation and deep cleansing.Lil goes a long way. I have already used it 5 times and still u can see in tub,it’s filled till the top. This mask does cause a slight burning sensation as it is setting. I have heard turmeric affects everyone a little different. So plz do a test patch.

Best drugstore foundations for dry/combination skin

I have dry/combination skin.mostly dry and tzone is oily. So I can’t use too matte or too dewy foundations.

These are by far my fav drugstore foundations.

1.Most recent and most fav currently is LA girl pro coverage foundation in shade warm beige- comes in plastic bottle with a pump(which is great)

It is long-wearing, illuminating Pro Coverage Liquid Foundation. Gives flawless finish,medium to full coverage,Lightweight formula is comfortable for all day wear. Its Paraben free formula with added antioxidants helps hydrate and improve the skin’s appearance. Gives semi matte finish. Can be compared with mac pro long wear foundation(Which is my holygrail since ages) stays on for hours and hours. Definately worth buying and it’s very affordable as well.

2. Milani 2in1 conceal perfect foundation  in 06 sand beige. Comes in glass bottle with a pump.

Conceal + Perfect 2 In 1 Foundation + Concealer applies seamlessly over the face gives flawless, matte finish.its medium to full coverage. Very long lasting, gives matte finish. Its says concealer +foundation. However I do use concealer seperately when I am going for a full glam look. For no makeup-makeup look you can just use the foundation and you are good to go. Its is very long lasting. Milani and la girl are quite similar in terms of finish,durabilty and coverage. Again very affordable and worth buying.

3. Rimmel London match perfection in 402 bronze. comes in a glass bottle with a pump.

This foundation I use when i am on the go and don’t wana go too heavy with my makeup. Its medium coverage. Very light weight.long lasting and gives very smooth finish. Perfect for daily wear. For office going or college going girls 🙂

4. Loreal true match foundation in Golden amber.comes in a glass bottle with a pump.

Its a beautiful foundation. Gives dewy finish,long lasting. Skin looks very healthy and dewy. Gives medium coverage. If you have really dry skin then this foundation is amazing. Good for daily use.

All these foundations are worth buying. For shade refeence I am in mc42 in mac.

 

Fav highend moisturizing makeup primer for Dry Skin

For all those who have dry skin and struggle to have smooth foundation finish.

Moisturizing primers/ serums are must.

If you don’t want your makeup to look cakey and flakey then always moisturize your skin prior to your foundation routine.

Extra tip- exfoliate your skin atleast twice a week. And moiturise nicely with heavy moisturizer . Do this process in the night so that your skin can get perfect moisture overnight.

Coming back to primers.

1.Bobbi Brown vitamin enriched face base is a very good product for dry skin. It is very rich in moisture. But at the same time it doesn’ feel heavy or greasy on the skin.

It has vitamin c&e ,shea butter which makes your skin baby soft. I sometimes use it evn in the night with my night time skin care routine.

Consistency is very buttery and it smells amazing. Comes in a glass jar packaging.

It works great as a primer. Makeup sits so perfectly. Skin looks and feels smooth..I would definately recommend this for everyone.

2. Farsali unicorn essence.

This is my new fav primer. It is sooo light weight. Water based primer. It works amaaazing as a primer. It smells amazing.

Comes in a dropper packaging.

I apply it all over my face before my foundation routine. I also apply it under eyes so that my concealer blends so easily and doesn’ crease.

It’s a water based product. Consistency is runny.(Like water ) smells like cupcakes which I loveee!

Extra tip- you can also use it before your highlighter to have that diva glow.

Again I use it sometimes if I have any dry patch or flaky area. So if you looking for something which will work amazingly. Then try any of these products.

With so many things to take into consideration such as coverage, shade selection, undertone, staying power, and finish. It’s very difficult to choose the right foundation.

With custom cover drops you can create your own perfect foundation, tinted moisturizer or BB cream.

Its a pure pigment with no base product in it. Meaning you can mix it with any liquid product from your skin care and make your own foundation.

Cover FX Custom Cover Drops are coated in lecithin, a lipid that’s biochemically similar to our skin, so blending should be easy, whether you use water,silicone- or oil-based products.

Ex- sunscreen,mositirizer,serum,primer.

You can mix it with any of these and make a perfect base. It blends sooo easily. Long lasting. Since it doesnt have any base product in it so it will not get heavy or cakey on skin.

1 drop = sheer coverage

2 drops = medium coverage

3 drops= full coverage

4 drops = total coverage

I mixed 3 drops custom cover drops  in my keihls ultra facial suncsreen and it gave such a luminous and beautiful finish.

With this product you can’t only create your own shade but coverage according to your preference.

I use it with my keihls ultra facial suncsreen Or farsali unicorn essence. You can use it with any of your moisturizers or primer.

I love this product coz it gives such a beautiful finish and lasts all day long.

Comes in a dropper packaging. Lil goes a long way. Only con is the dropper is very messy to work with. You have to shake the product before using and there is no rim or rubber around the dropper so it gets really messy around the dropper.I Wish the packaging was more practical.

It’s lil pricey. But again you need very less product.
